The project had four main goals: 1. Promoting a better understanding of emotions and offering the proper knowledge and tools for their management. In our consortium’s opinion, the emotional management constitutes a basic resource for life, both psychologically and socially, since a correct emotional management allows us to feel good with ourselves and to enable better communication and interactions with others. 2. Exchanging good practices about the emotional promotion and deepening in the emotional management for adult education staff. Our consortium did not want a one-way course. 3. To build up ideas leading to a future collaboration, in the framework of the different key actions of the Erasmus+ programme. The Erasmus+ programme is wide and innovative. Some of the key actions, such as the KA2 and the KA3, seemed to our consortium somehow complex and since we wanted to keep on delving in the understanding of the Erasmus+ and in the idea of collaborating in future projects, 4. To get to know new tools and work processes, especially those based on the communication and information technologies which could facilitate future virtual collaborations among participants from different European countries.
As it was stated in the European Union’s policy, our consortium thought that adult learning is essential for social inclusion, active citizenship and personal development. The goal of all the organisations involved in this project was to keep growing and keep building networks around the world to provide quality learning opportunities for adults, especially for disadvantaged groups. For that reason, our consortium was in need of the expertise of a pioneer centre in the field of the integral personal care. Permacultura Cantabria, our hosting partner, could teach and provide our members with new tools of emotional management to improve their skills as trainers. To meet this goal, each organisation needed to take care of the quality in their work, in a constant evaluation and modernisation of their methods and tools of work, and to keep the new ways of communication and information technologies updated. With this project, our consortium and our hosting partner fulfilled our internationalisation needs to enrich our capacity building, and the professional development of our staff.
