During the youth exchange the participants took part in interactive presentations, discussions, debates or simulations. Through these activities they increased their knowledge on gender and gender related issues. At the start of the youth exchange we firstly clarified the key terms such sex, gender, gender mainstreaming. Later, we focused on different aspects of gender e.g. gender based discrimination, gender policies. In google forms final evaluation forms, the participants stated that they increased their knowledge and understanding on gender issues. -to provide the participants an opportunity to compare the realities in their countries and to identify steps leading to gender equal society; During the days the participants had an opportunity and space to present realities in their countries and especially to reflect on challenges and good working practices in achieving gender equality. -to empower the participants to address gender inequality;
