In the situation of the current refugee crisis in Europe caused by the conflicts around the world there is a need to work on the assistance measures and mechanisms. The communities hosting refugees and IDPs, particularly when the numbers are large, clearly experience economic, social and political consequences for doing so. Community and public services are strained. Governments of countries hosting large numbers of refugees may fear that they will cause political problems, stir up ethnic grievances, and cause long-term economic and environmental damage. NGOs, voluntary organizations play a substantial role in providing services in local levels. They need more tools to deal with these issues. This project will offer these tools. So the overall aim of this long term project is to empower youth workers, multipliers from hosting communities as well as refugees to create dialogue that leads to integration and establishes culture of peace. The proposed project aims to create a network of multipliers from programme and partner countries. The special thematic focus of the project will be made on migration issues and challenges related to integration of refugees, migrants, minorities and IDPs in our target societies. 36 youth workers who directly work with local young people in general and refugees, migrants, minorities and IDPs in particular will participate in our long term training course. We apply for “Triple I: Involve, Innovate, Integrate” is a long-term project, which is starting in May 2019 and will end in April 2020.
