Objectives

The goal of the project was to empower participants to INCLUSION -EQUITY, ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP, INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE, CULTURAL HERITAGE, and CREATIVITY AND CULTURE. Our objectives were: A) Improve the level of key competences and skills of 48 young people, where at least 20 % of them would be with fewer opportunities. B) Promote active citizenship and participation in democratic life in Europe. C) Foster an intercultural dialogue with the focus on national history and traditions. D) Foster quality improvements in youth work and enhance cooperation between organizations. E) Implement 8 local actions as a follow-up of the project. These objectives are aligned with the goals of E+ programme in the field of Youth; we: • improved key competencies and skills of young people; • increased their active citizenship and employability through intercultural dialogue and cooperation; • increased learning mobility of youths for whom it could be hard to travel abroad due the lack of resources and possibilities; • strengthened the connection between youth workers (represented by partners organization) and labor market; • enhanced youth employability and career prospects, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, self-esteem, language competences (the whole project was led in English), enhanced intercultural awareness and more active participation in society. Our target group were the latest Millennials and Generation Z, the loneliest generation in the world – raised by digital technology, unable to create meaningful long-lasting relationships. It is important for them to learn how to live in a present moment, how to plan cautiously, and with patience, how to take in consideration people around them, how to take risk (crucial ability for personal and professional life as well), how to live with people around, completely cut off the anonymous safety of the internet and digital world. We let them experience a real adventure in nature. Together with our partners, we strived to bring them back to the real world, to remind them of a sense of words like community, brotherhood, friendship, nature, values, risk, courage, tradition, history. We supported participants to grow into healthy relationships with themselves and the society. To do it, we used one of the most famous legends of all time. We employed educational tools of outdoor and LARP in order to let them co-create the experience of their life. In the middle of British nature, we let them become Knights of Round Table.
