In times of increasing discrimination based on religion and stigmatisation of migrants and refugees in European countries we want to create contacts between youngsters from different European countries and young refugees living. The raise of “right” oriented aggressive feelings among mainstream population. Due to the very bias reporting of the media – it is always stressed the national/religious/racial background of the specific criminals/terrorists Such biased media reporting contributes to faster and stronger development of prejudices and stereotypes, Also Youth Connect and it's partners have been conducted research and concluded that majority of the potential participant in this project are faced with social exclusion, lack of opportunity to participate. The objectives of the project is To foster mutual understanding between young people from different countries, To develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people and encourage creating friendships. to give youth with new and increased awareness, abilities, knowledge, tools, network and experiences that will enable them to become active citizens and to impact their local community, The main objectives of our project are closely related to the Erasmus + priorities towards the young victims of marginalization; the promotion of diversity, multicultural and interreligious dialogue, common values of freedom and respect for human rights. Also offers the participants an intercultural forum where experiences and good practices from their organisations and communities are shared with young people from other European countries. This will enhance the participants understanding of the bigger context they live in - Europe - and contribute to a positive European development, combat prejudice and enhance the understanding of cultural diversity.
