Through implementing this Project, Participants will not only will they learn about Migration, they will learn about the reasons for Migration, the Causes, the challenges, the advantages and the disadvantages of migration. Participants, through this project will have an opportunity to do what they feel is necessary to effectively support Young people and families, who have been forced to or who have chosen to Migrate to Europe. The objectives of this project are as follows: - To understand the EU/UN definition of Migration/refugees. - To understand the current policies put in place by the EU/UN to support migrants and refugees - To challenge prejudice and discrimination against Migrants and refugees in Europe - To provide Professionals, with the skills and the knowledge they need to effectively support children, young people and their families who are migrants or refugees. - To provide Migrant/refugees with the skills and the confidence to successfully integrate into the European countries which they are moving to. - To Understand what it means to be a Migrant or a refugee. - To Provide Young People who plan to Emigrate from their countries out of necessity, the skills, knowledge and confidence to do so, without facing anxieties for their own wellbeing, knowing that they integrate and become part of the community and adjust to the culture. - To Introduce in the Participants, a sense of European Community. - To facilitate the personal, social and emotional development in all participants involved.
