A key conversation that influenced this project was around BR-exit and the impact this will have on the rest of Europe in terms of how connected we remain. Considering the factors that influenced BR-exit and on-going implications, a desire existed to bring young people from different regions of Europe together to explore this theme while reinforcing the need for European connections. This is one of the key objectives of this project. Another aim is to provide opportunities for a diverse range of young people to meet one another, build meaningful relationship that go beyond 'surface level' discussions, with the hope that they learn more about themselves, other people and the world they live in. Our ambition is that participant will develop the skills and understanding to be active citizens within society who are willing and able to make positive contributions. We plan to constructively explore the topic of 'Europe - In or Out' through inter-cultural dialogue to enable young people to make their own informed opinion. Young people will develop skills and competencies in area including communication, confidence and self-esteem, leadership, group work facilitation, emotional intelligence, self awareness, ability to review, planning, preparation and analysing. Beyond the project the participants will use these skills to be more active and positive members of society. We are working towards cooperation between youth organisation and youth workers across Europe. This includes sharing best practice, learning from each other and understanding new methodologies.
