Cooperation between Cultures is a youth exchange project with participants from UK, Sweden and France that promotes the culture of cooperation and builds bridges among youth from 3 different countries. The idea for the project came from UK youth. We want to discover different realities, and enjoy them. Building strong relationships with people from different cultures is key in building diverse communities that are powerful enough to achieve significant goals and changes. We chose this topic because it's relevant in UK today and we felt that politics is so focused on dividing people based on their nationality instead of celebrating diversity. The aim of this project is to promote multiculturalism as well as intercultural dialogie. As it says on European Commission website: »Intercultural dialogue is, essentially, the exchange of views and opinions between different cultures. Unlike multiculturalism, where the focus is on the preservation of separate cultures, intercultural dialogue seeks to establish linkages and common ground between different cultures, communities, and people, promoting understanding and interaction.« Project objectives are: 1. to promote cooperation between different cultures 2. to develop social and leadership skills of the youth and promote social inclusion and active participation in the society 3. to promote a physical and mental health among young people by promoting participation in sport, art, cultural activities and teambuilding activities 4. to provide youth with intercultural experience and create appreciation, tolerance and awareness of different culture 5. to promote Erasmus+ opportunities for youth, the voluntary idea and Youthpass 6. to increase digital competence
