Sharing IDEntities was a follow up of the KA2 project PRIDE - Prevent Radicalisation through Identity Development (title used when working with the target group was IDE). With Sharing IDEntities, partners did not only dissaminate the project outcomes, but also continue to work with the target group, support and encourage them to experience change as a chance and promote common European values. From our experience, we can say that a youth exchange creates the most natural and safe athmosphere, where youngsters can really be themselves and many friendships can develop naturally. Moreover, we belive a youth exchange is the most suitable for: - bringing disadvantaged youth together to realize they are sharing the same challenges in different countries; - encouraging participants to express themselves, share their stories to enhance a feeling of belonging and purpose; - supporting peer-to-peer education; - developing cultural awareness and feeling stronger as being part of the European family. The project is facilitating the access to participants with disadvantaged backgrounds and fewer opportunities and is promoting diversity, intercultural dialogue, common values of freedom, tolerance and respect of human rights as well as equity and inclusion (objectives pursued by the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth).
