Objectives

Within five years, we wanted to offer every student and staff member of school group Impact! a foreign experience where languages, working techniques and cultural differences mean professional and personal enrichment. The result is a sustainable international network that results in innovative and high-quality education with a boost in external profiling and on top of that we had an eye for social inclusion. Through mobilities in different cultures, we created maximum learning gains and total personality development and promoted lifelong learning and active, entrepreneurial citizenship. This has been delayed due to COVID. Within this project we wanted to work gradually and visit both (London), (Eindhoven) and (Helsinki) so that the different systems could be presented on a larger scale. Eindhoven was eventually able to continue, but we had to postpone the other two destinations. We have already implemented Helsinki in our new projects and in May a group will go to London, so that we will have completed this project in full.

Background

With this project, we mainly wanted to focus on the professionalization of the policy bodies in schools, including the management, the technical adviser and the ICT specialists. We wanted to focus on confirming and perpetuating existing quality and optimizing innovations. By facilitating and supporting foreign projects, we stimulate lifelong learning and cultural involvement in a high-quality and professional manner. We took a member of staff from each secondary school in the school group. In this way they set a good example and by professionalizing they can take their schools to a higher level. All management boards are confronted with issues such as social inclusion. These mobilities gave the boards an insight into all facets of schools for which everyone is trying to find a solution. They were an enrichment for the person and for the entire school as it is carried out at the highest school level. As a school group, we optimally support the schools in internationalization and are convinced that a school's transcending collaborations are strengthening for all schools and all students.
