Noticing the gap between NFE and youth workers we implemented the project where participants had chance to acquire and exercise new tools and competencies in non-formal education, including the competence to invent/design and facilitate new sessions and tools based on the needs of a given target group. Also, to identify best practices, and to undergo a coached self-assessment as a trainer resulting in a development and action plan for the professional future. The whole project was planned as sort of training for trainers where participants explored the concept and factors behind non-formal learning. They learned to design, facilitate, and debrief existing and novel non-formal learning sessions and workshops. The objectives that we set up before the actual implementation of the project were: • To share experience and knowledge on the best ways to educate youth workers projects to support young people. • To provide to participants the appropriate tools and methods for them to be able to use NFE in their daily work. • To create the necessary open space between the participants for discussion and sharing. • To give the ability to look at the themes of the international point of view in order to inspire TC • members. • To allow people to acquire new information using non-formal education. • To assess the positive and negative sides of the discussed topics.
