The ‘Youth Climate Action’ camp is meant to bring youth together from 5 European countries, around the issue of climate change and what actions are possible. Indeed, many youngsters are so scared, angry or hopeless when thinking of the approaching climate breakdown, that they remain inert. By participating in the two main activities proposed in this project, they will know, learn and have practiced several things they can do to keep up the spirit and organise themselves. The youth climate summer camp has two distinct objectives. By the end of the project the youth will have 1) learned how young and ordinary people can be part of the democracy and have their voice heard through people's assemblies; 2) learned how to execute a climate action including the preparation and organisation. Other objectives are being outlined under the K3 project proposal.
