Objectives

“The Art of Earth” project is created in response to the scarry statistics in the last few years, which show that life on the Earth is not going to be easy and long if people keep living in the way they are doing it at the moment. Materialism and consumerism lead to climate changes, cataclysms, unhealthy food, diseases, increase of the number of children with disabilities, hunger, death of animals and people. In order to demonstrate our concern to this global problem and show that we believe we are not insignificant and even our small actions can bring positive effect, we decided to organize this international youth exchange under the Erasmus + programme, Key Action 1, Youth. Our main goal through the implementation of this project is to increase ecological culture of young people and commitment to the contemporary tendencies in the field of environmental protection and the exchange of good practices in Europe. Our specific goals are as follows: - Exchange of good practices about environmental protection between minimum five different countries in Europe (Bulgaria, Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Denmark); - Encourage the application of different methods of recycling, upcycling, minimizing the waste and zero waste lifestyle thorugh practical workshops; - Popularizing the idea of permaculture – prinicipals of sustainability, designing systems, that satisfy human needs and are balanced to the nature; - Sharing of natural construction techniques; - Popularizing the principles of sustainability; - Encouraging cooperation and team work; - Encouraging to active and healthy lifestyle in harmony with nature; - Peer-to-peer teaching; - Intercultural communication and study; - Intercultural exchange;
