This project is specifically designed to respond to the needs and expectations of the participating organizations, participating young people, group leaders and local communities involved. By setting the objective to revive national cultural values through theatre and performance, we have tackled the following issues: 1. Nowadays, a lot of young people struggle to identify and understand to what culture and backgroud they belong to and what are the values, traditions and history of their nation. By raising awareness of these issues, we are tackling directly those problems by involving the participating young people in the identification process of their national values, traditions and culture. In this way we will achieve increased level of cultural and self awareness of the youngsters along with higher motivation to learn, discover and grow culturally, emotionally and morally. 2. Huge problem identified in this project application is the way the current generation young people spend their free time. Most of them prefer to stay at home playing video games or watching movies, go out to the cafe or a bar, smoke cigarettes or even taking drugs. All these problems were identified in collaboration with the participating organizations from all participating countries. Our suggested solution is to show young people that going to a theatre, opera, concert or being part of a theatrical or any other artistical performance is a much better choise than staying home or wasting time in useless and even harmful things. 3. By connecting point 1 and point 2, we reached the conclusion that via using theatre as a tool of expression, we can motivate youngsters to return to their roots, learn about the traditions of their countries and those of the other participating countries and also become aware of their own identity and belonging. By identifying their national roots, values and culture by theate and art, they will be able to step forward in their spiritual growth and acquire sense of belonging to the big European family and even to the whole world. This sense of belonging will enable their potential, talents, motivation and self-awareness. 4. The major objectives by achieving these aims are to grow responsible, self-aware, motivated and active young people who will have the capacity to bring the positive change of their communities and take active role in the social life. Furthermore, we strongly believe that those young people will become the leaders of their societies by implementing what they have learned on local, national and even international level. Our experience as a sending organization so far shows that all young people participating in international mobility projects become successfull change makers and bring their skills to the next level. This is what we are aiming to achive in this project this time as a hosting organization, not just a sending one. 5. All the afforementioned objectives will be summarized along with the outcomes of the project in the so called "Theatre-Traditions-Modern World Tree" /TTMWT/ framework which will be the physical output of the project execution. This will be a chart created by the participants first on paper and then put digitally in order to be disseminated easily and quickly. The digital version of the TTMWT framework will be created in Word or Excel in a way that every reader can understand what is the relationship between the elements of the chart. It will be designed in readable, understandable and reliable manner so that everyone can grasp the main idea. In the center of the framework will be located the Theatre as it will be the instrument which will help youngsters to identify cultural values, traditions and heritage. An arrow will point out the Traditions section of the tree on the left side of the chart and the modern world section will be located on the right side. In between there will be single words or sentences referencing to each section and depicting the relationship between different elements. The theatre will be the stem of the tree, while the traditions and the modern world will be represented in the form of the branches of the tree. In between, the connecting words which describe the relationship will be depicted in the form of leafs. 6. By creating the TTMWT framework, our major objective will be to distribute it amoung participating countries so that local societies can benefit from it. For that purpose we will look for the support of local authorities, schools, universities and other institutions, where we can represent our invention and explain what is it's purpose and how important it is. We will also make sure that we introduce it to local teachers and youth workers so that they can use it in their day to day work with children and young people. This will enable those communities to overcome the aforementioned problems and this is our major objective.
