"Diversity is about all of us, and about us having to figure out how to walk through this world together." Jacqueline Woodson The Hunt for Inclusion is a project that combines outdoor, role-playing and simulation games for learning about social inclusion, diversity, constructive dialogue, equity and struggles one endures to reach the state of understanding, acceptance and cooperation. Project is created in order for young people to learn more about social inclusion, intercultural communication and cooperation. It combines outdoor, role-playing and simulation games for learning about diversity, social inclusion, constructive dialogue and struggles one endures to reach that. We wish to carry out this project because we - Synergy Bulgaria and partners - work with social inclusion of young people on many levels and in many areas; and because we wish to promote the strength of diversity in our societies and what it can create. We wish to support our participants to have a stronger personality so when they meet the unknown, they do not give into fear but are curios to explore, learn, understand, accept and include the new in their lives. Because to feel good in this multicultural world that we are part of, it is important to make sense of our own identity and our differences, to now loose ourselves and in same time not pressure others to think the same way as we do, to learn to accept the different and see how these differences create our unique societies. To be bold and be problem-solvers rather than sit at home and do nothing. To learn to educate others about what social inclusion is and how to create it in surrounding community. Our strength as Europe and European citizens comes from our ability to see our differences as a ground for non-violent and open dialogue where each of us can learn more of themselves through others. And through that our diversity becomes strength to face any situation or common obstacle we may face. The aim of this project is to promote diversity and thus inclusion & equity through role-playing & simulation games and outdoors. The objectives of this project are: + To bring together 40 young people from 8 countries, where at least 20 of them are with fewer opportunities + To improve skills and competences of 40 participants through non-formal learning (role play games, outdoors, simulation games, constructive dialogue sessions, reflection, cooperation) during the whole project + To empower 40 young people to create strong and open identities about themselves + To create and test minimum of two new role-play and simulation games in outdoors that are focused on social inclusion and diversity + To create minimum of one project video for documentation and promotion of the project and Erasmus+ + For each partner to implement minimum of one dissemination activity (role-play game session, simulation game, workshop, any other event for result dissemination and promotion of the project and Erasmus+) within their country + To ensure evaluation throughout the whole project by 40 YouthPasses, 40 evaluation forms from each participant and 8 project partner questionnaires + For 8 involved partner organisations increase motivation and discover new ways for promoting diversity & addressing the social inclusion within their target group
