The project "Sharing different history, Shaping Common Future" is designed by 16 youths from our partnership and aims to bring 40 youths and 8 leaders from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Greece, Moldova, Turkey for collaboration in implementing, reflecting, evaluating and disseminating how youths can shape optimistic future based on their different history. The project idea is based on the concept that youths can focus on commonalities between our common positive aspects of history, culture and tradition that can connect people more than divide them. This cooperation is based at the following: -Youths from different cultures feel comfortable to cooperate through NFL activities. -The project idea is a result and impact from pax and some of the partners of a previous project and the target group. We want to encourage them to proceed with this application since we foresee fruitful outcome and enhanced impact on all sides and in international level too. -History and Future based discussions provide shared orientation to the development of methods, activities and results because they are grounded to the direct interests of the participants. These foster creative thinking and can also in appropriate way lessen tension and cultural prejudice among people. As Dodson (2015) said studying and sharing aspects of History is important and interesting should give readers an insight to how much better life they have today. This is reason enough to explain why sharing history is a powerful instrument to foster intercultural understanding, communication and appreciation of diversity and of the importance of cooperation to shape the future by avoiding the mistakes of the past between people. So partners agree and propose this project through which our youths will share aspects from their history in order to reach and create a powerful tool for fostering collaboration, intercultural learning and enhance intercultural dialogue. -All partners aim at intercultural dialogue and social inclusion. Through this project we will strengthen our attempt. We consider NF activities as attractive way to involve youths into learning process because they propose variety of approaches in which they can be encouraged and motivated to meet what interest them more and develop their competences and skills. Thus in this project we will share and develop methods that are connected to the historic background of the participants, such as Theater, poetry, Music, cooking, dance, which are interactive activities and can involve anyone irrespective their competences, special needs and fewer opportunities. The project also meets International, EU and E+ objectives because: -participation of youths, especially the ones with fewer opportunities -secures safety and pleasant NF learning environment -the development of: *learning outcomes and improvement of basic key competences *practices for intercultural learning, equity and social inclusion *it's a project from youth for youths and rest of the society The activities of the YE are designed based on NFL and include learning by sharing of experiences and practices. We want to change and exchange experiences, knowledge, improve skills and develop attitudes on how to be more competent to promote their own development. Activities include daily reflection, evaluation and debriefing of sessions, guest/expert input on the topic (intercultural dialogue, History teacher, study visits in open museums/settlements), activities with pupils from primary school. Also we will have ongoing collaborative sessions for creating common partnership final products (adverts, message videos, video, photoalbum, website, banner, non formal ideas), intercultural evening, teamwork (orientation, teambuilding, treasure hunt), and recreational time together (movie time, evening games, dance etc). What we want to achieve: To -support youths and in general all people to be aware on the positive effects of cooperation in individual and international level for own and global development. -train and inform youths that post and current sociopolitical conflicts between countries works in contrary to intercultural dialogue, solidarity and social inclusion -help youths be aware of others cultures and history, respect diversity and build on commonalities between them. Objectives of the project: to 1. suggest and share history based activities for intercultural learning and social inclusion 2. motivate youths to collaborate through history based activities under NFL, irrespective their origin and culture 3. enhance the development of key competences (social, intercultural, languages, creativity, l2l) to youths when collaborating in historybased activities 4. increase self confidence and inspire youths to join more international mobilities 5. create tangible (video, booklet) and and intangible (ex. friendship, partnership)results. 6. provide space and time for developing ideas for future projects between participating countries
