The main goals of this project of this project were to: • Learning about EU environmental policies and laws • Learning about local laws and policies • Learning about practices in place (recycling, etc) • Finding sources of information • Getting involved in policy reform and contributing • Creating awareness in their communities and the world about environmental conservation • Proposing methods to protect our coastlines and preventing pollution from entering our seas • Working with local stakeholders to ensure that laws and policies are upheld • Educating locals about the situation and methods to protect the environment The goals were achieved by the working methods and the strong partnership, even though we experienced many difficulties as a result of the CODIV pandemis.
