Objectives

The main objective of the WORK IT OUT Youth Exchange project is to increase employability of Young people and support them in finding a job field or study field that would be suitable for them. The second objective is to raise awareness about discrimination in the job market and show effective ways to protect oneself from it. This will also be the main goal for the output which will be shared in schools and on social media. The specific goals of the project are to: A - increase opportunities in the job field for participants who are facing any kind of discrimination (based on rase, religion, gender, cultural background, personality traits etc.) by providing them with an international experience and increasing their competences in foreign language communication, digital skills, learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and cultural awareness; B - give the participants the opportunity to gain self confidence, get to know their temperament, strengths, values and passions to make it easier for them to find their life aspirations and ideal job field; C - raise awareness about discrimination in the workplace in 21st century: examining what does discrimination mean, how to recognize it and how to protect oneself against it; D - reflect on the tools that are usually offered young people in order to help them make a decision about their studies and job field job (questionnaires, school counselor, university rankings etc.) and creating a new tool made by young people for other young people (and to share this tool with schools and youth-based organizations in all participating countries). The objectives of this project are directly linked to the Erasmus+ objective to raise employability of Young people and to support equal and inclusive opportunities for everyone, including the refugees and migrants or their first generation descendants.
