60 participants from seven countries (DL, CZ, LT, LV, PL, I, SE) are going to intensively deal with the topic “Religions in cooperation for Europe” for seven days. They are above mostly young people who have never participated in an European youth encounter. In particular, disadvantaged young people and adolescents with fewer opportunities are taken into account. Based on a participatory and learning-centered approach, the educational process takes place before, during and after the youth exchange mainly through peer learning. The methodological spectrum ranges from discussions with Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu and Islamic religious teachers, role plays, an excursion into a Christian church and a synagogue, the production of short films and theater scenes to the common development of a "Marienthaler declaration to the cooperation of the world religions". In addition, the cross-cultural, political and linguistic exchange of young people is central. In the already pre-established Facebook group the young girls and boys have already developed a preliminary program for the Youth Exchange. They also had the opportunity to exchange information and express expectations and proposals for the Youth Exchange. The teenagers thereby are not only going to deal with the topic of " Religions in cooperation for Europe ", but are also going to start an cross border exchange about other topics. So the young people will plan the meeting together, put together the final program sequence and the selected methods firmly and they will evaluate the encounter collectively. After the meeting, the youths are going to be involved in the dissemination of the results and are going to aid the representatives of the project partners in supporting the regional public relations in their respective home regions. During the encounter the participants are going to be backed by the project head and the educational group leaders, if required. In addition, the young people are going to acquire new experiences through discussions with representatives of other religions. At the end of the meeting the results of the exchange (for example, the commonly by the young prepared "Marienthaler declaration" and the theater scenes) are going to be presented to the public and made available for it. During the youth encounter the young girls and boys will not only work in multinational small groups, but also take the daily meals in multinational groups as well as live in multinational accommodations. Therefore, the intercultural exchange was encouraged as well. To deepen this exchange, "cultural evenings" are going to be held, in which the participants of the various nations are not only going to present their characteristic culture, customs, way of life and language, but also current transformation and development processes (migration, political tendencies, subculture, change of characteristics of social classes). This intercultural learning process aims at developing the diversity awareness. The long-term benefit of the exchange is located in the content itself (the interreligious dialogue) and in practical experience and expertise (film production, writing theater scenes, improve foreign languages etc.) among the young people and project
