This project idea was successfully implemented before, and partners agreed there is a need to multiply it in other countries as well, to include new organizations and to further expand the scope of the impact and outcomes. All of the partners on this project are experienced in NFE and empowering young people in different fields and aspects of life. However, all partners recognized a lack of youth workers that would be able to achieve some impact and bring about solutions with the problem of unemployment of young people with fewer opportunities. Main focus of this training course is to empower youth workers in preparing, organizing and successfully implementing a diverse set of youth work and NFE activities for employment of young people with fewer opportunities. Youth workers and organizations involved will have the capacity to combat youth unemployment and exclusion by increasing entrepreneurship / employability skills of young people with fewer opportunities. Youth with fewer opportunities who do not have previous working experience, or have recently lost their jobs, will be equipped with knowledge and competences / further develop and maintain their skills necessary to remain competitive and keep up with the current trends on the labour market. Objectives: -To contemplate and exchange opinions on the unemployment as well as employment and entrepreneurship trends/opportunities of youth with fewer opportunities in different European countries (tendencies and influencing factors, specifications of the target group, focuses, etc.). -To achieve mutual understanding regarding different concepts and values of youth work for inclusion. -To determine young people with fewer opportunities which will be project’s target groups and beneficiaries; to explore the needs of socially excluded youth, determine consequences of that; to be able to make impact and take further steps towards more inclusive society. -To improve understanding of EU social inclusion and employment policies; to understand how those policies influence project countries, EU member countries as well as potential candidate countries. -To share good practices and examples of entrepreneurship and employment activities that combat youth unemployment and to further discuss and consider the positive influence youth work and NFE has on employability -To equip youth workers with necessary skills, motivate and encourage them to do quality needs analysis, strategies for local and European level activities and to develop long-term youth work programmes focused on entrepreneurship and employment of youth with fewer opportunities. -To encourage and support youth workers so they can implement different NFE activities focused on empowerment of unemployed young people with fewer opportunities in local communities -To present the Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme and to encourage the development of future projects with unemployed young people with fewer opportunities. This project and training course is envisaged in a way that youth workers themselves are planners, will be the organizers, receivers and multipliers at the same time. As multipliers, participants will, through various activities, be more involved in their organizations and communities. Youth workers will be provided with new skills and tools, they will be able to organize and multiply different kind of activities and programmes for inclusion and youth empowerment. As a result of this training course, participants/youth workers will be able to cooperate and develop future Erasmus+ projects/activities together which will promote youth cooperation on European level and result in long-term programmes. Learning about our countries realities and different situations regarding unemployment and entrepreneurship opportunities of youth with fewer opportunities will lead to increase in European awareness of youth workers. Through planning and implementing projects/activities focused on solving unemployment of youth with fewer opportunities, researching and discussing EU social inclusion policies, our participants will improve their sense of EU citizenship. They will develop projects/activities in the future together with young people with fewer opportunities and in doing so, they will be promoting European values and the value of European level collaboration.
