"The stage is yours" is a youth exchange that empowers young people from four different countries to speak up for their opinions, fight xenophobia and instead for a Europe full of diversity. The project will give young people powerful tools like film and theatre, so they can spread their opinion about current relevant political topics and which society they want to live in. We want to give young people a platform to discuss discrimination and xenophobia and to share their ideas of how to fight it first among other young people and then among their community and later around whole Europe. The project will make young people more self-confident in achieving a society they want to live in, to speak out their opinion, get actively involved in their community and to connect with young people from other countries to strengthen the ties among young people in Europe. The objectives of this youth exchange are young people getting familiar with people and other young people that are different from themselves, such as young people with disabilities, migration background or young refugees as usually they do not get in touch with them in their daily routine. In this youth exchange a very diverse group will live together, learn from each other and young people from marginalized groups get involved to share their opinion with the others in order to create a message that will be spread out into the world via social media.
