The project will focus on giving youth workers - staff and active volunteers in international voluntary service organisations as well as climate justice and peace activists - the skills to empower young people to become active in the climate justice movement as well as to support existing initiatives around the topic. By doing that, we want to empower more young people to become active citizens and we want to bring the peace and the climate justice movements closer together. The objectives of the seminar are the following: - to come up with new volunteering projects to support the climate justice movement - to increase the quality of existing volunteering projects around climate justice - to share, improve and create non-formal education approaches and tools around climate justice - to train staff and volunteers of peace and volunteering organisations in doing street actions and demonstrations around climate justice with young people - to create an online platform for young people to increase their active citizenship around climate justice beyond individual action - to create more alliances and solidarity between the peace and volunteering movement and the climate justice movement - to network between the organisations involved in this application
