As part of a first youth exchange, young people from Azerbaijan and Germany have started to search for differences and similarities in their values and future expectations. In their homeland many of them are involved in the great topics of Naturfriends: peace, solidarity, participation, education and sustainability. After getting to know each other in Germany and discussing the United Nations' 2030 Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals, they want to deepen their exchange and discuss the implementation of the goals in the two countries. In Azerbaijan, they particularly want to focus on the interaction of the European Youth Goals with the United Nations 2030 Agenda. The targets of this project are: - Strengthening the inter-regional and international cooperation between young Naturefriends from Azerbaijan and Germany. - Introducing awareness-raising measures to understand and experience similarities and differences of personal values and ideas for the future among the participants of both countries. - Practicing a respectful teamwork of individuals with different cultural and religious socialization. - Reflecting the significance of the sustainable development goals against the background of the individual situation of society in Azerbaijan and Germany. - Exchanging options and bounds of civic engagement for young people in their home countries.
