Objectives

Through our ongoing activities, we are daily aware that today's young people are receiving a very large number of messages and stimuli from different media, but there is a significant lack of analyzing and separating skills between true and "false" news. They also appear to be largely unaware of the ability to create media messages individually, so they are not media literate and can not think critically and logically about the content of the various media and their role and means social networking in society. With the "Do not let me down" program, we aim to increase the literacy of young people in the media and develop their skills to recognize propaganda, media bias, misreporting and misinformation. Objectives of the project "Do not let me down":  Skill the skills of young people (including young people with fewer opportunities) to analyze digital / social media and to be able to create their own media messages  Increase critical thinking and active participation of young people in the debate on the importance of media literacy  To raise awareness of the importance of media literacy with particular emphasis on information  Encouraging debate on the means of verifying and checking the reliability of events, the security of digital media and the freedom of expression  Improvement of basic learning skills, including communication in foreign languages, awareness-raising on culture as well as social and digital skills  Increase young people's awareness and understanding about YouthPass and its role  Providing space for the development of new creative ideas for a project within the framework of the Erasmus +, KA1
