General idea of the project is created during the project The gender of entrepreneurship which was implemented in Yerevan, Armenia in February 2019. when we realized that a lot of young people today dont understand what are the European values and how to define them. Also, during the same project we recognized the need of youth workers for methods and ways of working with young people on topic of European values in order to empower them to promote European values through active citizenship and their active involvement in society and in democratic life. As we got idea, we did research on European level in which we involved programme and partner countries in order to find out which countries have real need for empowerment of youth workers and leaders but also of youth organizations in order to promote European values, work with young people on European values and through that improve the environment and society in which they are working and living. The results of research showed us that programme countries which are dealing with lack of education related with European values are Greece, Croatia, North Macedonia, Italy and Poland while there are also partner countries who had a lack of opportunities for international mobilities but also lack of knowledge related with European values from the side of youthworkers but especially from the side of young people. The fact which lead us to involvement of partner countries in this project is that all of the partner countries involved in this project regarding on results of research feel them selves as Europeans but when it comes to definition and knowledge about European values young people from those countries are confused and they cannot clearly define Euroepan values. That are concrete reasons why we decided to create this project proposal in order to educate at first youth workers and leaders who are working with young people in their local and regional levels in every day life in order to make them able to work more on activities related with European values and through that make strong impact on young people in their societies but also in their society in general as youth workers and leaders who will be involved in this project will be also multiplicators of results of this project and thorugh that will make impact on huge number of young people but also on their community. Objectives of this project are: - promotion of active citizenship as a way of involvement of youth in creation of better future of Europe - empower youth workers and leaders with methodology which can be used in youth education related with European values - improvement of key competences of youth workers and leaders participating in this project and through that creating the positive preconditions for active work with youth on European values - promote intercultural and international dialogue through multicultural learning and working in international environment - establish the network of European values equalizers - promote and create new international learning mobilities for young people all over the Europe - promote and enhance cooperation and mobility between programme and partner countries - increase the level of recognition of non formal learning and YouthPass as a certificate which confirm the results of non formal learning The needs which we want to fill with this project and activities in this project are recognized during our previous projects, not only projects which we hosted but also projects on which we participate as a partners but also the are recognized thorugh research which we did with our project partners in order to check general knowledge of young people about European values which are fundamental for all members of European Union but also which more and more countries should adopt as fundamental in order to promote peace, tolerance, respect of differences and human rights, antiradicalization and antidiscrimination.
