Before going on to give the reasons why we want to carry out this TC, first we would like to reflect on what the definition of what is a proper space says: Living space: 1. m. Territorial scope needed by communities and peoples to develop. Following this meaning and more taking it to the field of youth, we could ensure that a youth space where the greatest demand are young students, workers or unemployed, with social concerns, information and training, economic and social entrepreneurship, which also seek to materialize their Occupation of leisure and free time, we could reach the conclusion that they are collectivities or sectors of society that seek a space of feeling of belonging that is adapted to their needs and where they can develop. At this point from ENREDADOS we pose the following questions: Are the youth centers / spaces (information centers, shelters, residences, training centers, associations, public entities) adapted to the needs of today's young people? Are your human and material resources the best to respond to the current needs and interests of the young person? Do they encourage to "exploit" the potential of the young people of the future? Are they true centers of innovation, entrepreneurship and youth synergies? Do we know the difference between young and young? In answering these questions with the current panorama we realize that many of these youth spaces are youth homes for the consumption of activities, without meeting needs. After putting together these questions with our partners and then starting a debate that has lasted several months, we have come to the conclusion that we need a review of what we have been doing youth workers and volunteers, in addition to material resources and spaces that with them we use to get to understand that a total renovation is necessary from 4 key points: - A renewal of the structuring and use of the current spaces for young people, adapting them to their interests and needs. - A re-education of workers and volunteers both in information and in the formation of content and resources (dynamics, games, methodology) adapted to the needs of our young people. - Creation within the spaces of structures and innovation channels in the field of youth employment managed by today's youth entrepreneurs themselves (introducing Startup platforms, accelerators, incubators, shuttles, etc.) to promote young people's approach to these spaces while increasing their possibilities for self-employment and introduction to the labor market, in addition to the undeniable benefit for society. - Structure more open spaces to an integrating, tolerant and above all multicultural culture where all young people have a place regardless of their race, religion or sexual identity. For this we rely on the following objectives of the TC for the participants, partners and local / regional agents of each country: - Raise awareness and facilitate training on the need to readapt and create youth spaces that young people demand and that have as their purpose to cover the current needs of the young public. -Empower those young people in their own ideas and initiatives, to have opinion and decision-making - Provide the youth workers and volunteers participating in the TC with ideas, resources, good practices, etc., useful and adapted to the effective management of these new models of spaces through approach techniques, financing lines, new management roles, young motivation, etc. - Foster the idea among TC participants of the need to introduce a 4th area within our entities or managed spaces, where the implantation of the youth entrepreneurship culture with ideas and real business examples supported by young people and social innovation is facilitated -economic, that allow integrating and attracting more young people to these spaces providing information that can cover their real needs. - Encourage the motivation, information and training of the participant through sharing the ideas and good practices of the work we develop in partner countries to reach common interests and take effective measures to attract young people to these new models of spaces.
