Objectives

HEAL (Healthy Eating As a Lifestyle) is a seven-day youth exchange (including 2 days of travel) that seeks to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle through a non-formal and experiential learning methodology. It will bring together 20 young people from 4 different countries to exchange ideas about a healthy life by learning and developing an intercultural dialogue on this subject. We will promote sports as a requirement of an active life, we will try the vegetarian / vegan diet as a healthy lifestyle while reflecting on our lifestyle and gastronomy. They will also have the opportunity to develop their skills as chefs during the exchange as a way to put into practice what they have learned. Thus, during 5 days of exchange, we intend to achieve the following objectives: - Raise awareness and promote good living practices with the participation of young people from different nations through the vegetarian / vegan diet and sport and how it can be achieved in our daily life - Train young people by providing tools through experiential learning with cooking and DIY workshops so that they can reconfigure their lifestyle, - Create a space for young people to present their respective gastronomy by opening a reflection on the influence of different national cultures when it comes to setting a specific lifestyle, - Build a fruitful group dynamic to connect participants from different countries through participatory activities - Address the challenge of climate change and the need for a sustainable lifestyle at European level, promoting active citizenship to address this problem.
