The Gelem project seeks to work with young people from different social, political and cultural realities, a look at the world around them that allows them to integrate a gender perspective that is shaped as an element of social transformation. With this project, the three participating entities want to get the young people involved in the project to identify with the culture of the effort and acquire responsibilities that help them to improve their studies and their personal goals, always based on gender equality , and working the sexist roles and attitudes. The exchange between such different ethnic groups and cultures will also allow us to break the prejudices and stereotypes that each one may have on others and analyze, in a critical way, the image that they had created of the other. It is important to leave individualism and that participants have responsibilities for the common good of the group. The general objective of the project is: To know, debate and understand the difference between the two groups of participants in terms of gender roles, machismo, woman's liberties, motherhood in temparana age, etc. to promote critical thinking processes so that young people identify the macho behaviors of everyday life to promote their eradication.
