Objectives

The reason why we want to carry out this project is that today in our current society there are still people who discriminate against others either because of their skin color, race, gender or culture. With respect to diversity since 2000, Spain has absorbed more than three million immigrants, who are integrated into a growing collective that has come to represent in 2008 more than 10% of the population (4.5 million out of a total of 44 million), from all continents. Social inclusion is one of the eleven priorities of cohesion policy for 2014-2020, 118 million people in the EU are at risk of social exclusion. More than a third of Europeans do not make it to the end of the month. Spain (26.6%), Denmark (17.2%) Slovakia (16.3%) Czech Republic (12.2%) Italy (28.7%) Finland (15.7%). At European level, 13 million women citizens experienced physical violence, 3.7 million experienced sexual violence and 9 million experienced sexual harassment. These are the main conclusions drawn from the first European macro-survey on male violence carried out by the European Agency for Human Rights in March 2014. Every day, every minute seven women are victims of rape or other sexual violence in the EU, sexual harassment on the Internet, which already affects 10% of Europeans, Denmark, Finland and Sweden have the highest figures of male violence in Europe. The main theme of our project is social inclusion which means that participants will learn more about the following objectives and spread what they have learned. The objectives of the project are: To help understand the importance of social inclusion through activities that help address diversity, gender equality, equality, the fight against gender violence and non-discrimination through the use of non-formal education activities. -Put the results created into practice and disseminate information to the La Hoya community. -Creation of an e-book with exercises, activities and tools carried out during the project. Create a space for the exchange of experiences and non-formal learning among young people. -To create a basis for cooperation between organisations for future projects in the Erasmus+ programme. -To meet young people from other countries with the same interests and needs, to get to know their culture and experiences.
