Objectives

"Screwdriver Plus" was an ambitious Training Course that wanted to be the missing ring in the chain between NGO and society relations in social media. The main idea was to eliminate the flaws in project dissemination by suggesting innovative ways of managing social media platform. We all now that dissemination of results is a crucial part of any Erasmus+ project lifecycle. However, as reality show, dissemination of projects is not as successful as the projects themselves are. That’s why “Screwdriver Plus” activities had the objective to help participants to be more creative and use the opportunities of social media at any stage of project development. Besides this, “Screwdriver Plus” allowed participants to acquire new IT skills on social media, that will help them to be more prepared to join the labour market, to start their own job, to have a better communication with their clients and to fit better in the future of European Union through innovation and entrepreneurship. It's was project that wanted to fight one of the most important challenges of European Youth from today, the youth unemployment, and to promote Digital Transformation according to the Digital Education Action Plan. Social media are omnipresent in our lives nowadays. With the advent of mobile devices and the normalization of wireless internet connections, we became online almost permanently. Smartphones became an extension of the human body and that's why we cannot live without it anymore. The potential of social media is clear on a personal and professional level. And it is also a fundamental tool to improve Erasmus Plus projects, including a better time management, a better communication between partners, a more efficient dissemination of the results of the project and more powerful results in the end. In a general way, the objective of the project were: To empower NGOs for better project dissemination using digital tools To develop the skill of Social Media management To expand the network of NGOs To explore the innovative ways of content-making for social networks To get familiar with useful and flexible tools for ad creating To develop media communication skills among youth workers and NGO workers To get closer to the meaning of corporate social responsibility To explore the best ways of project dissemination To find out more about project management in Social Media To develop live event organizing skills To promote non formal learning and present it as a tool for participation and development To receive the best practices from the experts To promote Digital Transformation To promote entrepreneurship and to fight unemployment To promote inter-cultural exchange, tolerance and solidarity in general To raise visibility of Erasmus Plus program.
