Objectives

We believe that carrying out an action of this magnitude combining youth mobility and social innovation will have an enormous interest and impact and that it also has many direct lines of action with the mobility principles of Erasmus Plus: social entrepreneurship, rural development, environment / climate change or education for development. It is an ambitious project by all the lines it covers, but at last it is the fields of action that we work daily Our training course "Innovative solutions against environmental challenges" arises to respond to the need to train youth workers in the area of sustainable development. It has the objective of co-creating a more collaborative, just democratic and sustainable social and environmental model. We want to promote a form of direct social innovation from a rural and agrarian nucleus, to encourage a transformative learning where participants can learn and then replicate good practices based on transformative education. We also want to raise awareness about environmental challenges and that partner organizations help us to spread a hopeful but urgent message about the changes predicted by thousands of experts through Climate Change. Another important aspect in this project is that we want to promote "green entrepreneurship" from rural and agrarian areas. We want our "Rancho Limón" project to be replicated at different points and for youth workers to be empowered to develop more knowledge and skills in the performance of their work. Our two projects "Escape Room Educational" and the "Great Game of the Guadalhorce" are two examples of success that we developed in our space "Rancho Limón" and where thousands of young people will be who will be educated in a transformative education through tools innovative educational We also want to generate synergies and work networks with our European partners. The environmental challenges are a challenge that requires a common consensus (as was already seen at the Climate Summit in Paris). All these European entities working and learning together with so many local agents (University of Málaga, numerous local entities, social agents or a United Nations agency in Malaga (CIFAL) will undoubtedly generate a spreading effect on environmental awareness. Finally, we consider that it is an interdisciplinary project that improves the curricular competences of the youth workers in the environmental area. We will train participants in different disciplines and we will endow our action with an integral knowledge in social innovation and the environment.
