Objectives

Minorities have not equal opportunities to participate in public life. Specifically, the violence and discrimination against LGBTQI people is widespread in many European regions and is related to the violence that systemically affects women, ethnic minorities and other minority groups. This discrimination and violation of these people Human Rights are experienced physically, verbally and in the digital environment through cyber attacks such as cyberbullying. In this training course the participants will learn how to facilitate non-formal learning tools, especially methods of human rights education to improve the security and equality of LGBTQI children and youth. Another objective of this project is to bring together LGTBQI human rights activists from European countries and the Balkan countries, where they will have the opportunity to share their experiences and good practices. This training is a platform to transfer knowledge and experience of human rights activists / workers from countries that have efficient mechanisms of social integration and protection of human rights. We also find as a goal of the project to create a network between associations for future cooperation and the planning of projects managed in network. Our methods are based on active education, favoring cooperation and participation using active methods in which the individual is the main actor of the educational process. Our partnership is formed by associations from Western Europe, the Balkan zone and Turkey the latter because the defense of Human Rights and, in particular, the LGTBIQ collective is a complicated task and which in many cases is diminished by the situation that exists in those countries. So the need to share in a safe space and that encourages further action will be satisfied during this training.
