Objectives

The idea behind this initiative is to spread the use of graphic facilitation and the dissemination of it among youth workers and youth leaders in Europe. The objective is to add new and interactive skills to the portfolio of youth workers and leaders, to improve their facilitation of youth work. The training seminar is an actual course, where participants will gain new innovative graphic facilitation, process and storytelling skills, which will strengthen their work with the youth - which meets the objective of a more inclusive, learner (and youth) centered training, communication and facilitation culture. The need is a new visual language, which is not screen bound, but can make our facilitation attractive to and inspiring for youth, when conveying messages and holding trainings. For the partners to actualise the idea of a more inclusive language in the work, they need a thorough training in graphical facilitation; to develop a graphic language with icons and flow stories designed for the specific work our audiences in the respective organisations – in the framework of ESD (Education for Sustainability) and the SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals). The need is assessable templates making agendas, learning flows, process work etc. change drastically. Creating a stronger and more creative pool of skills for youth workers and youth leaders corresponds directly to the objectives of the Erasmus+ programmes, as the new skills will be put directly into action, within youth work in Europe.
