Objectives

With the development of the youth exchange "Get to know yourself through nature!" We want to encourage and bring young people’s interest in the concept of personal growth closer together. To incorporate personal development as one more subject in our daily life, a common practice in order to improve our quality of life. Knowing our identity, promoting the development of our personal skills and potentials, contributes to improving our quality of life and the realization of dreams and aspirations, as well as facilitating employability. Through the Know Yourself through Nature youth exchange, we have raised awareness of the benefits of working for personal development. During the exchange the participants have performed a personal analysis of their identity, have evaluated whether the present actions they are taking are aimed at satisfying their dreams and goals, and how they can improve their personal well-being through simple actions (improve personal relationships, positive thoughts, improve self-esteem), all through dynamics and exercises both individual and group in a natural, cheerful and fun environment. The objectives of the project have been: -Encouragement and provision of the necessary tools for young people to develop their personal growth. Acquisition of knowledge, skills and competences that improve their personal development and consequently their employability. -Improving skills in foreign languages. Motivate young people to improve their level of foreign language in order to enjoy and live the exchange to the full. As well as arousing interest in learning other European languages. -Fostering cultural diversity among young people. During the exchange, young people have built up a network of international contacts and developed an awareness of European citizenship. -Promotion of non-formal education and recognition of acquired learning outcomes. Promote tools for the recognition of qualifications and learning outcomes. -Promoting healthy lifestyles among young people. Offer leisure alternatives that include physical exercise and establish new leisure spaces such as nature. Questions and needs addressed with this project: -Individual self-knowledge: to know our motivations, desires, aptitudes to focus our present actions towards the achievement of our future goals. -Development of personal skills that improve the personal relationships and quality of life of the participants. -Improving the employability of young people as a result of individual self-awareness. -Bringing young people new ways to spend their free time and leisure in nature. -Promoting intercultural dialogue and social inclusion: Breaking stereotypes, eliminating prejudice, building identities and seeing the richness of diversity. -Inform and promote the Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme. Give visibility to other programmes such as the European Solidarity Corps.
