Objectives

The objectives of the project are related to the objectives of Erasmus+, at European and national level in the following way: General objectives: - To promote active citizenship among young people, encouraging participants and young people to make a change in the life of their communities, on their own initiative, using methods that enable them to raise awareness of issues that are important to their well-being; -Through playful tools we will make young people more curious and eager to learn about human rights, and we will create activities that make them reflect and feel part of this theme and become aware of its importance and the need to fight for them. - The project stimulates European cooperation between NGOs as it will use a platform that has already been created and this will make the games and activities designed by each organization have much more impact. In terms of national priorities, the Dignity and beyond project includes an innovative approach to combating discrimination and violence by working on common values such as human rights. By means of the proposed games we manage to develop the empathy of the young people towards other realities, using for it the technique of storytelling, which is one of the most important elements in the games and in the ludified processes. Through this project we also address issues related to the fight against radicalization and violence in young people. Working on the theme of Human Rights, we look for common meeting points, which have to coexist with different sensitivities and cultures, and we will also deal with the theme of violence and how to prevent it from human rights education. The most effective way to eradicate violence is not in a violent way, because this generates rejection, but through empathy, good treatment and the search for a common territory that we can all consider our own. For the evolution of the Europe of nationalisms, it is important to understand this and to work in this direction with our young people. We will also work on the national priority of valuing and encouraging young people to participate in electoral processes, and in particular in next year's elections to the European Parliament, because we will link the importance of human rights with European values and the importance of democratic participation as a means of guaranteeing a pluralistic, tolerant Europe that guarantees human rights.
