This project will be carried out by the will of Grup Eirene to continue carrying out, in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, projects with countries of the Balkans since it has been detected that these projects continue to be in great demand in the municipality and cover the need of a large part of the youth population of Santa Coloma de Gramenet with fewer resources and social obstacles to participate in this type of projects. Every year, different institutes of the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet and young centers contact Grup Eirene to request information about the exchanges that we will carry out and they ask us to go to inform the young people about the experience that will be for them. In addition, Grup Eirene wants to continue taking advantage of its great knowledge, contacts and experience in the Balkan area in order to expand it with a new country and with a new organization, Vojvodina Civic Center, which shares the same ethical, moral and legal principles with the Spanish entity. of operation. This particular exchange will be the second phase of the one that has already been carried out during the month of March in Novi Sad, Serbia, and that will allow the young people of the Serbian group to travel to Santa Coloma de Gramenet and live the experience of the trip. as well as knowing a reality very different from the one that surrounds them every day. The objectives of the project are the following: Main goal: -Establish relations between young people from another country, know their culture, traditions, their history, their way of life, their concerns, sharing experiences, knowledge and concerns and contrasting them with ours to open up socially, culturally and internally and thus make it possible to break with prejudices and stereotypes, in a region where it stands out for being multi-ethnic and multicultural. Specific objectives: - Improve the capacity of the participants of personal and professional development. - Establish bonds of friendship between both groups and learn emotional, relational, social skills with young people from other cultures and ways of life. - Improve the inclusion and opportunities of young people with more obstacles so that they can integrate socially and become active citizens of their society. - Promote values of respect, empathy, intercultural understanding and international cooperation among young people. - Influence social communication as a tool for social transformation through peace work, social justice and human rights. - Know social, political and historical aspects of the countries that make up the Balkans and our own country. - Make it possible to travel and know other realities to young people with fewer possibilities. - Empower young people to design and direct activities, events and budgets of costs. - Improvement of the intercultural skills involved in the dialogue between young people of different cultures, ethnicities and origins. - Acquisition of knowledge about social integration projects and thus improve their skills and competences. - The acquisition of linguistic, technical and social skills. - Awareness about armed conflicts and the impact on the population. - Live an intercultural and international experience that brings them closer as European citizens and of the world to discover new realities and that impels them to become involved citizens.
