Objectives

We are preparing an international training course to involve young people in the non-violence movement and commit in the support of the defence of the territory and human rights, both in their communities and internationally, supporting Communities and organizations that are working on these issues, and learning from them. The training course will be implemented through: - experience-based methodology - deriving learning through life experience - and collaborative learning, - enabling an approach to reality from feelings and emotions - getting to know first-hand experiences, - analysing from the simple to the complex, - encouraging critical thinking - supporting youth initiative to get involved in their communities. We think it is fundamental to have an international training course of this kind, which can, on the one hand, complement and reinforce existant European networks and on the other hand, allow us to have a broader outlook on the different European realities. We would also like for this to act partly as a meeting point for some Colombians residing in European countries to analyse and bring their experience to the table, thus, broadening our outlook from an intercultural point of view which will involve sharing and learning from a mutual acknowledgement of who we are and where we come from.
