Racism it not more a question of racial superiority but the fear we felle in front of someone who is different and not understable. Exclusion and hate are the results of this fear that is transformed in reject. All the states, all the origines, all the beliefs and cultures are impacted by racism. Each one of us us actor and victim of racism, in a conscious or not way. This project aims to raise awareness among young people on a sensitive topic. There are different means to answer to racism: to sensibilise on racism, discrimination and the process to go from prejudice to discrimination. To sensibilise on the fact that racism is legally punished as the discrimination as well. To sensibilise on the reaction to have when we are a witness or a victim of racist or discriminated behaviours. This project will also allow to contribute to the creation of work teams and to support youth wrokers in the implementation of concrete and efficient actions. We want to give to the youth workers the opportunity to discover and developp new tools to react towards racism in their environment and to help younsters to do the same. We will use for that different kind of activities such as real cases, simulations, games, theater, creation activities, meetings etc... The main objective is to contribute to develop a shared strategy of prevention and fight against racism. This project will be implemented in Fontenay-sous-Bois from the 14th to the 22nd of October 2019 with the participation of 30 youth workers from 6 partner organizations.
