The project “Embrace Cultural Diversity!” is initiated and implemented by the young people from Reunion (France), Belgium, and Georgia for the promotion of intercultural communication, mutual understanding, and building bridges among different cultures. The project fosters the joint European values, while also highlighting national and regional differences of the participant countries. The youth organisations and the young people from the three countries share their experiences by creative workshops, arts and crafts, food and folklore, history and culture. The project promotes intercultural learning in a multicultural learning environment. The young people gain new skills and competences and develop positive attitudes that helps them as active citizens of their communities. The project is aimed at diminishing the antagonising tendencies present in the participant countries, and promotes the joint European values and democratic citizenship.
