The main goal of the Music Changing Perspectives project was to contribute to the personal development of 23 young people aged 17-25 and 3 group leaders from different European countries. This youth exchange was planned to allow participants to gain new knowledge and skills they will use in their future careers or personal lives. Our objectives were to respond to the need for dialogue on issues relevant to today's youth. We wanted the participants to use music as a tool for "explaining reality" and to express themselves through it regardless of their musical skills. Additionally, we wanted to provide young people with a platform to spend time with each other, build relationships, and gain new experiences while not only talking about complex topics but also organising a final concert together. Our main objectives were to: - respond to the need for dialogue on issues relevant to today's youth; - use music as a tool for developing new skills like small project planning, public speaking, using cultural heritage to break stereotypes; - support participants in expression through artistic creation regardless of their music talent; - show participants how to plan an event; - provide young people a comfortable place to spend time with each other, build friendship relations, and gain new experiences by organising a final event together. The project's goals were in line with the purposes of the Erasmus Plus program. The project promoted international cooperation and intercultural education.
