Following the numerous ideas of young people, members of “Together” organization, decided to create youth exchange “Behind the Fashion”. We concluded that the subject of fashion is a good way to gather young people to discuss the topic of style, dress code, history of fashion, national costumes of the participating countries, using different non-formal tools. This topic in our opinion do not require special knowledge from the participants and in the same way is an excellent way for intercultural learning, especially for the participants with fewer opportunities. The main themes of the youth exchange we are planning to implement are fashion, intercultural fashion and differences between fashion in history and nowadays, the process of the fashion developing with the focus on countries participating in the program. Accept that we will touch on the topic of design (cloth, interior design, footwear, etc.), intercultural communication, and creativity. The objectives of the project “Behind the Fashion” are to: • Organize a platform for sharing knowledge about design and trends in the fashion world between the participants during the youth exchange. • Develop skills of analytical and critical thinking of young people, interpersonal skills, individual and collective creativity, etc. • Develop respect for other cultural traditions. • Identify and describe the political, religious, economic and social use of fashion in our time. • Analyze the role of the activities of public people in relation to the spread of fashion trends. • Link different materials and types of fashion with relationships and their role in the daily life of young people.
