Objectives

The Erasmus+ program aims at increasing the number of young people going abroad. Opportunities have been multiplied. Not only for students, it addresses all youth profiles from secondary school students to apprentices and volunteers. Given this huge offer, it might be hard for non-aware young people to find what program suits them best. Moreover, some young people are facing more difficulties than others because of their social and/or economic background. This is why ESN France and its partners Créaquartier and ESN Italy have chosen to work with young people from disadvantaged disctricts in France to make them discover international mobility through a short youth exchange. Isolated young people such as those living in disadvantaged districts are the one able to talk about their issues and motivation about international mobility. This is why the youth exchange involves the creation of a awareness-raising tool by the youth and for the youth to raise their voices and find with them solutions. This tool is an artistic project designed from A to Z by the young people involved in the project. Its enriched by a travel in Italy showing what a short termed mobility looks like from the youth’s point of view. Art Mobility’s objectives are the following: - raising awareness of young people from disadvantaged districts about European citizenship and international mobility, as well as cultural diversity - facilitate artistic expression and pedagogical tool creation based on a peer-to-peer methodology
