The project "UNESCOnnect us!" aims to strengthen the cultural and social values of participants based on the principles of openness, diversity, solidarity, multiculturalism and social cohesion as the basis for the development of a responsible, tolerant and equal society; to contribute to the preservation of European identity; to develop digital skills and cultural expression based on cultural (non) material UNESCO heritage of the EU. The project will contribute to first, the equality and social involvement of young people from rural and poor suburbs that have less opportunities because they are limited by geographical (rural environment, isolated environment, ...) and economic (underprivileged, unemployment ...) barriers and second, to the better connection of partner organizations on a wider European level, because all involved organizations work with young people in similar environments and with similar difficulties.
