Objectives

Self-esteem is the assessment that each human being has about ourselves, what we are, what we become, as a consequence of a mixture of physical, emotional and sentimental factors that we face through life and that were shaping our personality. We can say that self-esteem is the love we have for ourselves. It is an evaluation that evolves through the different stages of life, and through the way in which we faces the obstacles that arise. When the environment in which the individual is inserted does not match the person's emotional and psychological socio-effective needs, conflicts start to appear in his personality, in his way of connecting with others. This is when we face the challenge of controlling feelings and adapting to events that impact on our lives. So by implementing this project we want to give to young people tools and knowledge about self-steem. That means, we want them to build their self-steem and strengthen their self confidence in order to balance social disadvantage and improve their chances of socioprofessional inclusion through an open minded and intercultural experience. This project aims to empower the participants for personal development through building self esteem and raising awareness of importance in basic mental health, which will be achieved through our specific goals: 1. To spread knowledge and awareness about topic and tools connected with self – esteem. 2. To build a sustainable network between organizations and to encourage future partnership. 3. To provide information about youth exchange in order to increase available opportunities. 4. To become familiar with different tools and methods of non - formal education. 5. To enhance personal development of participants. 6. To have space to develop soft skills. 7. To promote diversity, intercultural and inter - religious dialogue..
