Youth exchange- "Art exchange" - Wants to explore the ways how to actively spread peace through culture and art. Since peace is one of the key values on which European union is made on, and that Vukovar is placed in the area which has finished the peace process with the peaceful reintegration, we consider that with sharing those values we can make impact on the lasting peace in our area, and at the same time to transfer and bring experiences of the other communities. We have witnessed the war and conflict processes, but also the radicalisation, especially among young people, which are present in our area but also in the world, and which has impact on all generations. Conflicts, national tensions and violent radicalisation are creating unpleasant situations, distorting peace and everyday life of innocent people, especially children and youth. At the same time, mass media are broadcasting false informations and are reporting sensationalistic which makes the situation worse. In order to overcome bad tendencies, core values of the EU should strengthen, peace and tolerance should be in the focus, and through the dialogue to create grounds on which can be explored peaceful and reasonable solutions for crisis situations. To us, as a young persons, the question of peace is extremely important in order to have a normal life and job. With peace building through culture and art we want to contribute on building a society in global, because only peace is ensuring economic and social progress.
