Objectives

The aim of the project „Return to our natural values” is that youngsters of four countries create the „Nature’s coffer” intercultural collection with formal and non-formal learning methodes by cooperating and learning from each other. This represents many values, like ecological, traditional European and local values; helps young people to create jobs; provides opportunities and draws attention to sustainability. One of our most important goal is to help youth with disadvantaged background to participate in a program that strengthens groupwork ability, while they jointly plan, implement, assess and popularise their work. We aim to improve six main competencies throughout the program. By strengthening their natural sciences and technology related competencies, participants will be able to act locally and think globally in an environmental friendly and practical way to achieve individual and community goals. By improving the youth’s ability to take the initiative and to take responsibility in the society they live in, we activate their entrepreneurial competencies. As for interpersonal and citizenship related competencies, youth will get the chance to familiarising themselves with an intercultural atmosphere. They can learn and accept different cultures, which will also help the long process of an individual becoming a member of the community. Learning to learn is also an important aspect of our program. With utilising the methods of project work and workshops plus peer learning, our aim is to help youth make good use of their newly gained skills in all walks of life, be it education, their workplace or an own business. The development of digital competence is ensured by the fact that many program elements are implemented by computer. Foreign language competencies are also important, while in many programs (learning about competencies, writing songs, etc.) we practice English language.
