Objectives

The overall aim of the project is to increase the number and quality of voluntary possibilities provided to young people. We will reach this by creating and designing a practical training program for local organizations to empower them to host volunteers and/or obtain Quality Label in European Solidarity Corps. The project will be structured in two steps: A1) At first experts of the partner organizations will come together, put their knowledge and experience together to create a new training program for local youth organizations in their own country. The event will focus on mapping needs, combining methodologies and designing learning processes based on the plan for the second event. A2) Following the first event a Training Course will be delivered for representatives of local NGOs/hosts/communities which are willing to begin to host international volunteers and/or obtain Quality Label in European Solidarity Corps. The objectives of the project: - to develop and pilot a training course for organisations to become host organisations for international voluntary projects and ESC projects; - to increase the quality of youth work; - to increase the number and the quality of ESC projects in Europe; - to train representatives of local organizations and increase their local impact; - to support youth workers in the acquisition of learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) with their involvement as host organizations. The project involves partners from 7 countries: Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland and includes all together 59 mobilities.
