The objective of the project was complex and multilayered. Primarily, we had intended to achieve the goal of social integration and adaptation of young ones who live in a situation of hardship and tough conditions. Also, we aimed at having these youths undertake an active participation in the European Union based on prior experiences and cooperation by evolving and heightening their need for the arts as well as rousing their interests. According to this, we laid stress upon the mutual collaboration, self-expression and self-fulfillment. The situation of variegated culture provided an opportunity for enhancing their creativity and imagination. The continued nature of diversified programs performed together with their mates and peers tended to distract the youths' thoughts from their everyday cares and immediate troubles, strenghtened their self-confidence and had the effect of a potential motivational drive in their future. We aspired to propel them to find further and newer aims in their life patterns. They were offered such a series of diversified programs that did not highlight one single area from the totality of the arts. Instead, each of the participants had a specific range of opportunities to gain experiences in various fields of art, then they could try the techniques and create together with others in a given field. Our deliberate procedure to deploy the youths in mixed, heterogeneous groups with ever-rotating group-leaders and their independence of decision-making aimed to promote the cooperation of the youths and their self-contained integration in society. Moreover, the sports programs played an important role too, as the healthy way of life was disseminated by pinpointing the necessity and importance of physical movement and exercise combined with healthy eating.
