Entrepreneurial learning - entrepreneurship education

Objectives

Job opportunities today are changing: jobs with permanent contracts are becoming increasingly scarce and concentrated mainly in public employment and in large companies. In Mediterranean countries most companies are SMEs. A way to combat unemployment, especially among young people, is to become an entrepreneur, but no school prepares young for this. The objective of "Ruralship" is to improve the entrepreneurial skills of young people in rural areas to prevent their marginalization. The sub-goals are: - to understand the risks, challenges, potential and impact of their business ideas on rural community - to encourage young people to consider entrepreneurship as one of the job opportunities - to introduce the economy of the common good - to offer a space for intercultural integration, promoting a culture of dialogue, tolerance and greater understanding - offer the opportunity to implement communication in a foreign language (English) - promote youth mobility at European level. These objectives are in line with the objectives of the Erasmus + program and the objective of the program is the "fairness and inclusion of people from remote or rural areas, people living in small islands or in peripheral regions and people from areas with fewer services ". The project is in line with the specific objectives of Erasmus plus and in particular -improve the level of key competences and skills, with particular regard to their relevance for the labour market and their contribution to a cohesive society, in particular through increased opportunities for learning mobility and through strengthened cooperation between the world of education and training and the world of work; - Improve the level of key profiles and competences of young people, including those with fewer opportunities and promote participation in democratic life in Europe and the labor market, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and social inclusion and solidarity, in particular by increasing opportunities for learning mobility for young people through strengthened links between the youth sector and job market Needs of young people to whom this project is addressed are: - a job that gives them a decent standard of living - to get out of polluted cities that offer poor quality of life - Improve their basic skills to enter the labor market
