RespectACTION youth exchange aims to offer new opportunities to young people from outlying areas of different European countries. The participants will attend a series of learning sessions based on non-formal education methods. They will have the chance to connect with other young people living in different countries and together discover their shared European identity vision. By the end of the exchange, the goal is to motivate these youths to be active citizens, to be inspired and empowered in order to work locally, in each of their contexts, to promote the fundamental values of our European society. The applicant organizations want to enhance cultural exchange and meeting of different lifestyles, promote diversity, the values of tolerance and respect for human rights. During the exchange, each day will be dedicated to a different topic. Trainers goal will be to encourage participants’ critical thinking and sense of initiative. The goal is to offer participants a space where they can feel safe to express their thoughts and dreams while training sessions will help them understand how they can connect their visions with others. The exchange will also be an opportunity for the group leaders from each of the partner organizations to share techniques and acquire new skills as well as build a shared methodology for working with young people on the specific topics that this exchange want to tackle. Group leaders will be involved in all phases of the project, and they will be collecting and sharing results of the process. The three applicant organisations will have the chance to connect the work they are doing in their local contexts by working in a trans-local European partnership that will set the ground for further collaborations between them in the future.
